Carl doesn't do a ton of interviews (other than when he was at the Under Armour Game, where media could not be avoided). So it's good that we could nail him down.

I hope we can nail him down this weekend, we have the staff that can do it but I worry about being first in a line of visits. We need a spark to set off some momentum heading into signing day.

I've heard such a wide range of opinions on Carl. I'm not sure anybody really knows which way he's leaning at this point.

Like I said in another thread, really hard to predict which way Carl is leaning right now.
I do think Clemson has a better shot now than I thought it did a few weeks ago.

No doubt Clemson can recruit but IMO the early visit here is not a good thing + losing R Jenkins will hurt them + Lawson will end up wanting to play in the SEC. JMO its a UT vs OM battle. Lots of UT people around him too.

Losing ryan jenkins doesnt hurt ... So he will want to play for two bottom feeders in the sec?

Bottom feeder in the SEC is pretty much the same as the top of the ACC (which Clempson is not).
