Recruiting Breakdown by Position

On Friday, we listed where all 106 Clemson football signees came from during the stretch from 2008-2012. Today, we go one step further and show you how the Tigers recruited by position group and where they got players by position during that stretch.

Travis Blanks is one of six DBs the Tigers signed from Florida from 2008-2012.

A few numbers stood out.

-Clemson signed 22 defensive linemen over this five-year span; 45 percent of them came from South Carolina.

-Of the 15 players from Florida, six were defensive backs.

-More than one-third of the signees from North Carolina were defensive linemen.
