Milton Jennings with 28 points and 14 rebounds
CLEMSON - Damarcus Harrison had a career high 19 points including 4 of 4 from the free throw line. Milton Jennings notched a double double, including a handful of clutch free throws down the stretch, to help Clemson defeat Virginia Tech 77-70 in front of 7,989 fans at Littlejohn Coliseum Sunday afternoon.
Clemson (11-8, 3-4 ACC) jumped out to an early 9-0 lead before Virginia Tech got going offensively. In a game where Devin Booker (illness) was held without a field goal, Harrison, McDaniels (17 pts, 5 rebs ) and Milton Jennings (28 pts, 14 rebs and 4 blocks) stepped up to provide an offensive explosion for the Tigers. Jennings was 16-18 from the charity stripe, which is the most free throws ever for a Clemson player in a single game since 1969.
