Not sure I agree that most Clemson fans would want a true freshman starting the opening game of the season at safety. I don't care how talented he is Aaron Murray will school him in the biggest way. That is not an ideal sceanrio at all.
Why was Cortez Davis not mentioned?

Honestly, I want the best players on the field regardless of their status. Kearse is an elite athlete. I honestly want to see Kearse returning punts and kicks too. I think he will be one of the best athletes on the entire roster when he gets to campus. Now depending on how fast he can pick up the scheme will determine how much he plays. This will be were Smith and Geohaghan will have the advantage.
