Gaines visits Clemson

Gut feeling is there's a ways to go in his recruitment.

Gaines is a pretty smart, level-headed kid. Not tied to one school or looking for that one offer. So in that sense, it will probably come down to which coaching staff he likes the most. He'll take a slew of visits and see which one makes the strongest impression.

Plus, with schools like Tennessee and FSU just now getting into the game, I think the field is expanding, not narrowing.
