Per his Twitter account, Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade Madonna cornerback Adrian Baker has decommitted from Florida State.
"After lots of thinking and praying i have decided to decommitt from fsu. My final decision will come on National Signing Day!," he said on Twitter.
Teams alive: Florida State, Oklahoma, Clemson and Georgia.
He visited Clemson 2 weeks ago; visited OU over this past weekend

This is very good news for us... I think we really have a shot with this kid
Keith, FSU obviously cooled on him. Any idea why?
They took him early, maybe before they really were ready to.
Just remember, beauty is in the eye of the beholder in recruiting. He's a solid player, obviously.
FSU never wanted him, FSU was forced to take his commitment because he was trying to make Jimbo look bad when we wouldn't accept his commitment.
That's wat jimbo gets for offering him. But Baker does suck tho.
Hey Central ... congrats on the big win down in Fla.
Thanks bro, rings on deck! It was a wild n fun ride that started in September. Best part is were gonna do it all again next year! Our coach is actually trying to set up games with NJ Don Bosco prep and St.Thomas Aquinas for next year.
I'm a little surprised Oklahoma and Clemson want him so bad.
Clemson is desperate at DB. Really, really desperate. Depth is non-existent, and the current players haven't been coached well the last few years. New DB coach + Baker + Alexander (hopefully) = gotta be better than last year.
I know but there has to be better options out there.
Agreed, but Clemson would take four CBs in this class if they were available. Unlike the Noles, we are simply in no position to turn away anyone that can be a number in the DB corps. And if we get Baker (and no other DB), having lost Kamara, I would say that an upgrade occurred in the end.
This unit needs depth. And talent. And a new coach. The next seven weeks are crucial.
Alexander is going to Clemson? Are they taking his brother too?
Need numbers - will take his sister.
edit: I was okay with Kamara being part of the RNk package - I would take Alexander's less-talented brother if it meant getting him (unless the brother is some sort of miscreant).

No one agrees with me when I say this but I think his brother is better than him
He has a pretty impressive offer list to "suck."

Interesting. I haven't followed his brother at all, other than the FSU thing. Is it assumed that they will sign with the same school? For some reason, I have it in my head that that wasn't a given.
He's average, not BCS ready IMHO.
True. Baker is not UM, Fsu, ou, or Clemson caliber. He's more like Louisville.
Forget the stars n watch the film. His brother is a BEAST...!
No offense but bob stoops, mike stoops and brent venables have been doin this a long time with great success. They wouldnt go in on a kid if he cant be developed.
Maybe there's more than meets the eye but from what I've seen on film, I'd pass! Have u seen his film?
Have you seen our secondary?
He has a lot of tools you can work with. Hes got good speed ,good hips, has a decent break on the ball, but Just needs coaching imo.
No offense, but I don't trust your ability to evaluate film better than Venables ability to evaluate in person.
