Coaches and players can't look ahead. You can.
Let's get the ball rolling, and start taking your predictions for the Clemson-Carolina game right now.
1. Who you got?
4. And the hero will be .....
On Twitter: @Niebuhr247
Reasons: Clemson has firepower, more than carolina has seen this year. While I expect us to have trouble running the ball, I think the short passing game and the tempo will wear out the the Gamecocks dline. Most importantly, Carolina has done very bad on the road this year, put them in a loud hostile enviornment and I don't see USC having so much success on offense.
Heroes of The Game:
Defense: Travis Blanks and his ability to cover Bruce Ellington out of the slot.
Offense: AE23; while I don't think we will be very successful running the ball, I think the dynamic ability Ellington has to make one cut and be gone, will be on display for a few runs that set Clemson up in good field position or even or a touchdown.
NC State 40
I like the way you think since that is the next game.
I'll have a better feel after that game anyway.
It's okay for fans to look ahead .... since you're not actually the ones playing and practicing and game planning (though I wonder if some fans think they are)
No way nc st scores 40

Clemson - 38
USCe - 27
This game will come down to who wants it the most and that will be defined by play along both lines. Clemson's offense is solid, but we must be able to run the football, especially in the second half. Clemson's secondary is going to need to focus and play their best game of the season. We must contain Shaw and slow down USCe's running game and this starts from our defensive line.
The crowd best come prepared to make noise when the chickens are on offense and be quiet when the opposite is true.
Okay, let's gets these predictions rolling .....
It's going o be a tough game to handicap for sure.
Clemson's offense is rolling right now, and against the best defense they saw all season they still put up 38 points, on the road. USC is the second best defense Clemson will see, but Clowney is banged up and the Gamecocks are vulnerable in coverage as Tennessee easily demonstrated.
Defensively Clemson appeared to make good progress through the season, but completely melted down yesterday and reverted back to blown coverages and missed assignments galore. A lot of this was from experienced players as well, as Meeks, Hall, Shuey and Willard all have missed assignments leading to scores the last two weeks. This has to be very troubling, as USC has some good skill players, and let's face it, some of the Wolfpack receivers were open by miles.
I'm thinking Clemson wins another shootout. I think Clemson has to stop USC's run game and force Connor Shaw to complete some passes. He's hobbled too and isn't near the passer as Mike Glennon, so you have to make him beat you and hope to score enough points on their defense.

I agree. Tough game
I believe it definitely will be won or lost up front.
USC 34- tigers 21
I think we shut their run game down. IMO if we do just three things we win 1. Eliminate big plays defensively in the air 2. Get ellington going 3. Tajh must be a factor in the run game.... If we can do those three things we win...and possibly big
LMAO Delusional coot
USC has played three quality opponents and lost to two of them. I see no reason that you lose this game given the weapons you have on offense. You are at home, your stadium is a tough place for a visiting team to play, and your defense need only bring their B game to win.
Clemson - 34
USCe - 28
I don't have a good feeling about the game, but I never do.
I think if we stop Shaw we have a chance. I'm just worried about the deep ball to Byrd and Ellington.
This. Shaw isn't a precision passer but Spurrier has taught him to throw a decent deep ball and Byrd, Ellington and Sanders can really get downfield and go get it. No doubt we get burned a couple times. Key to stopping their O will be to keep it to a couple times not 5 or 6 times.
Keeping shaw in the pocket and forcing him to read the defense is key. I think youll see a similiar gameplan like we had against auburn this year
hahahahahahaha... big miss, jv.
Clemson 45, Scar 34
yup guess I was wrong... not sure why youre trying to be an a@@ about it
You are so sensitive...
I wasn't being an ass. I was just poking fun at one of the 5 people who frequent this board. But every time I try to talk to you here, you cry.
Don't worry bro. It won't happen again. Jesus.
You should have a great feeling about this game. Clemson is in better position to beat USCe this year than last. Your offensive weapons are greater than their offensive weapons. Your D is the weak point, but you have home field advantage. I've been to one game at Clemson and I will never forget how deafening the noise was, it was crazy!
I cried? everytime? Guess its hard to to determine someones intentions on a computer my bad....But to the score....I would have never imagined they wouldve scored more than 30....just very poor play from the safties
