Miami (Fla.) Central RB Dalvin Cook ran a 10.92sec 100m yesterday
On Twitter: @Niebuhr247
Forgive me b/c i have no idea what a "good" track time is... but i'm guessing that's pretty damn fast since he's covering about 9.16 meters/second
It's a good speed. Not exceptional. But good.
But for a RB, there is such a thing as too fast --- if a guy doesn't have any wiggle.
Cook is pretty fast, and has a good bit of wiggle. That's what most coaches want.
He is more all around then Yearby I think and While Yearby may be a little faster, Dalvin still has enough speed to bust open a play.
CJ was in that realm too.
Cook has exceptional speed. All you have to do is watch his film.

To me exceptional speed is Jeff Demps of Trindan Holliday ... Like 10.2 or faster.
I'll stick with "good" speed for Cook.
He's fast enough, let's put it that way.
CJ was a 10.3-10.4 100m guy if I'm not mistaken. To compare, Bellamy and Sammy both ran 10.4-10.5 as HS juniors while Hopper and Hot Rod ran a 10.6 as juniors.
I think its all splitting hairs cat is fast
