QB Nick Schuessler, who signed with #MissState in February, says he's headed to join Robert Nkemdiche & Grayson High teammates at #Clemson

Congrats on RN & the entire Grayson HS football team.
How good is he? Would we take him? Does he have to sit out? Is he a take just to help ensure RN?
I just hope that he's a preferred walk-on.....at least for a year. Let him earn the scholly.
Let me start off that I am not trolling you guys. When I read about this kid maybe going to Clemson, was curious what your guys thoughts are about another another Grayson guy?? Here is all i know about him
Offers from Colorado St. and Middle Tenn.
Good luck next year and Beat AU
Agreed - He was a two star on rivals, low end three star on 247 with a very poor offer list. Another Stoudt/Roberts. It doesn't really matter though - with Chad Kelly and DeShaun Watson in the fold, he'll never see the field at Clemson.

What I dont understand is why would Clemson even accept the transfer. Mullen recruits spread type QB's and Clemson doesnt run Mullens system. I just dont get it. Good luck against the Barn next year. Please beat that azz!
If he fits into Mullen's offense, then he fits into Chad Morris's offense.
Umm... Guess you haven't heard that we also run a spread offense
Your right, he's was not very sought after. According to MSU 24/7 site, he saw the QB competition and decided he would never play, so he decided to leave (along with another QB recruit).
If you take into account MSU probably produces the worst Qb's in the SEC, it doesn't bode well for his abilities. I'm speaking historically, but can you think of a single NFL QB that "hailed" from MSU?

don't know why anyone is evaluating this from the standpoint of whether schuessler will ever play. it's obvious that he's been invited to walk-on because of his ties to nkemdiche.
This is a win/win situation for Clemson. Doesn't take up a scholly and further solidifies Nkemdiche coming to Clemson.
