It's our understanding Clemson has not yet taken McCrary's commitment.
Cory and I will keep you posted.

Why not if we're trying to take 3?
Recruiting is tricky. The staff obviously likes him, but right now just isn't ready to accept the commit.
Why? We don't know. It could be any number of things.
I'm sure the parties have already talked, and the situation has been explained.
Don't assume Clemson doesn't like him a lot. And don't assume he will be upset.
Help me out with the list.
We are waiting on Kitt, Thompson are who we have the best shot with.
Don't really like our chances with Ermon Lane now that Mason Cole is committed to Michigan.
This is confusing to say the least, kid is a consensus top 200 player for all services.
Not sure where we stand with Artavis Scott, he seems wide open.
Any insight to this Clemson mods?
Remember, coaches don't go by rankings ... They may have other guys ahead of him they feel good about.
Lane and Cole ??? I don't see your connection.
Cole has Big-Ten ties and is an OT.
Lane is a WR. Think Bama is the team to beat for him.
Scott might have UF in front.
WR targets that we know of: http://clemson.247sports.com/Season/2014-Football/Offers?PositionGroup=REC
Something about the entire staff having to be there to accept his commitment, and that they are not all at the same place? Sounds confusing and it is my personal belief that scholarship offers are nothing to mess around with, if you other one you better be able to hold your end of the deal.
I've never been crazy about the "offer" and the "committable offer" .... Seems like they should be the same thing.
But I think sometimes you have to take a leap of faith with your team's staff. Like I said, recruiting is tricky. They're talking to numerous kids and have to wear kid gloves.
So I give them a little break on things such as this.
I guess the better question is do you expect them to accept his commitment, or make him wait?
I can't answer that at the moment. Trying to find out.
Depends on if we want to play big boy football and oversign like the sec does. All I know is we screwed up last year not taking the WR out of Gaffney that wanted to come to Clemson and ended up at UNC and had an extremely solid freshman campaign.
Quinshad Davis is a beast....had 61 catches for 776 and 5 scores as a freshman....
For some reason I thought that Lane and Cole were teammates when it is Scott and Cole that are on the same team.
I understand the reason the staff passed on him with what was in the '13 pipeline. Granted we largely swung and missed on targets like Robinson, North & Fullwood (and later on Clark), all of whom are probably better prospects, but the reasoning was sound. I think Davis is a good player but probably a "dime a dozen" type guy who could have been easily outrecruited had things fallen into place a little better.
I've see Davis play in person, he's got great hands no doubt. Every receiver on Clemson's roster is faster and quicker than him.
Every receiver on SCAR's roster was quicker than Sidney Rice and Alshon Jeffrey as well....
We should've taken Davis when we had the chance. Looking at our WR roster now that really can't be debated.
