 he leaves. He is scar's tie to Gary Patterson. Don't think SOS will be around too much longer.
Good call I forgot about that the Gary Patterson thing.
I think with TCU in the Big 12, Patterson is probably gonna settle in there for the rest of his career. He has to be a god on that campus and has lifetime carte blanche . I'd love to see Hyman leave Columbia and them promote someone for the wrong reasons who has no clue how to run an entire Athletic Department.
Per Twitter, Hyman has a meeting with the SCar's President this morning at 10 so this could be a done deal already
Edit: SCar sports radio station here in Cola are saying its pretty much a done deal as well FWIW

Hope that is true. That guy has been a great AD for SC.
Hyman leaves and Coach Tanner becomes a leading candidate for the AD's job. Tanner's assistant Holbrook would then have the opportunity to move into Tanner's current job. Hyman's long time admin. assistant retired yesterday so USC could make a clean start in the AD's office altogether. I fully expect Spurrier to retire fairly quickly despite signing an extended contract (recruiting purposes). He knows his window to win the SEC is fast closing and he wants his record to remain untarnished beyond the probation the team is already serving. All he really is interested in accomplishing is total # of wins at USC.
Hope all of the above falls into place for Clemson's sake.
postscript: I agree Patterson will now likely remain at TCU. Why would he leave other than money?
FWIW ... Got word from a friend that Tanner is at the trustees meeting.
Hopefully this will end in a Mike Belottis Scenario instead of a Barry Alvarez Scenario
Human just resigned.
