1. If ACC presidents, BOT's, and AD's believe the B1G and SEC are going to go to 16, they have to know those teams would come from the ACC. Where else are they gonna come from? Swofford knew these when he pulled the ND deal out of his ***, and hoped it would be enough. So if you are in the administration of one of the "football schools" in the ACC, you have to know how this plays out. There is nowhere else for the SEC and B1G to pull from. When it starts, there are no schools to bring into the ACC. The ACC, as we know it, is ultimately dead.
You can even throw the B12 in that mix. If they want to expand past 10 to 12, 14, or 16... you have to know where some of those teams come from. It's over... just a matter of timing.
2. Here's one thing I haven't heard mentioned. What if the Wake's, Duke's, BC's, Syracuse's, etc... pull a Baylor and Iowa St., and legally go after the ACC, teams leaving, and conferences poaching? Do they have a case if it's causing contracts to be broken and them to suffer financially?
If I'm them, I sue Swofford and the ACC for mismanagement.
dead on...exactly the B1G B12 and SEC will kill the ACC......Just like I said when MD left...who are we gonna get...theres nobody left...
