  • I've never seen somebody edit their post 37 times, but I completely agree. If we win next week he better be in New York and imo should be the front runner with Johnny Football. He is having an incredible year.

  • Good stuff HGballenger. Boyd certainly looked like a Heisman-like player yesterday, doing it all in passing and running. I think the weak schedule and having no high profile wins hurts Boyd, but he' had a helluva season and it's a shame he's not getting more national recognition.

    Should certainly be in the conversation -- and is dissevering of a top-10 finish at the minimum. The bottom line, though, is that because the ACC is so terrible this year the poor kid has had like one big game on TV and all anybody could talk about afterward was how FSU was back.

    At the very least, he has laid the groundwork to be an early season candidate next year.

    Then, if he puts up similar numbers he should be right in the mix.

  • Because of the conferense you play in. All do respect please look at the teams defenses that you have played and there in itself is why tahj gets no respect. He doesnt deserve it because he put 500 yards on wake forest. Really?

    Not a valid argument. For one thing, look at what he did versus FSU.

    Second, that would disqualify all the other qb candidates because of the defenses they played. Look at Big 12 defenses, look at B1G defenses.

    Enough with the SEC homerism. All any team can do is their best against their opponents. It's not Tajh's fault these defenses suck.

    Also, with all do respect, Tajh will have at least 300 yards and 2 TDs against SCar.

  • actually fsu,md,and ncst had qaulity defenses coot...just like the sec doesnt have a lot of good offenses

    Honestly I think its sad he isn't. Not sure why, IMO if he were putting up those numbers at FSU, he'd be in the mix. Not sure why they hold the ACC against y'all and not FSU, seems pathetic.

    FSU yes, State maybe, MD - sorry no. MD's defense might actually be better, but their O keeps them on the field the whole game so they don't stand a chance. Strickly from a talent side and scheme, they are decent, just can't hold up for 4 qtrs with what their o does to them.

    Clemson has not played in enough big TV games this season. Nobody outside the ACC world has seen him do anything.

    Basically, he is a casualty of the situation.

  • marylands defense was inside top 15 when we played them...so yes it was a good defense and vts isnt as garbage as it started out...they have gotten better...

  • I must say, he deserves to in there....What might be holding him back is the rushing, but with the passing yards like that. IMO it shouldnt matter.

    If Te'o can be in the mix with Sub-par stats. He deserves to be in NY no doubt.
