BTW - You might remember Coach Pruitt from the former show on MTV called "Two-A-Days" that featured Hoover High School in Alabama. Coach Pruitt was the Hoover DC from 2004-2006.

Craig is staying at FSU as of Friday anyway. I haven't heard any in the industry call this a weak hire. Inexperienced; yes. People I've spoke to on this speak very highly of Pruitt. Time will tell how his defense performs.

Noles are guardedly optimistic, wouldn't say elated. We are well aware that this is a risky hire for Jimbo but with the addition of Sunseri there is a bit more ease. People say he is a great recruiter, but more importantly, we need him to be a great play caller but we won't find that out until next year. The boosters $$$ are stretched to the limit with the building of the IPF, new athletic dorms, and stadium renovations. It's hard to match your ability to pay top coaching salaries that some of the more experienced coaches are getting with all of the other financial obligations going on. This hire may well define Jimbo's tenure at FSU one way or the other.

That is obviously a horrible thing to say and nothing can really excuse it. The entire UT defense quit on him and that has to be pretty frustrating for a competitive guy like him as well.
