I wanna see us use him in the option with a shuffle pass. When Florida had Tebow and Hernandez they ran this play to perfection.
I've heard about this young man since he came to Clemson, the one thing I think he can/will be used is on 3rd and 1 or 2..he is big and can get you that yard or so. Plus. using him that way will take some of the hits Tajh took last year. Do you see that?
Man, I've been chomping at the bit to see this young man out there. Certainly he is a physical specimen but I've always been pretty impressed with his film. To tell you the truth, I never understood why he was only a 3 star guy. Is it because he appears to be kind of a tweener type athelete?....kind of like Vic Beasley? Appears to me to be the perfect fit for TE/ H-back role. Looks like we could really make a weapon out of him with his skill set.
Personally, I've never been blown away by Cooper. Seckinger is interesting to me. I'm hoping he could step into the Brandon Ford type role. Seck has really good ball skill and seeing still pictures of him at start of Spring Practice, he has continued to put weight on - good weight.
Regardless of who gets the most playing time this year or in years to come, this offense has created a huge weapon out of the TE position. Clearly reasons why Blazovich, Cannon, Hershel's nephew are interested in playing here.
I think he will gain so much more this year due to his redshirt year. Now, he is bigger, understands our system and ready to play. Now playing for a year makes a guy ready to go hit someone.
