That won't be an issue in the running game. Andre Ellington is a relative unknown, but he's a dynamic runner who gets to the hole quick. Plus a lot is expected of Jamie Harper, a nimble 225-pounder.

There will be some drop-off in Spiller's production as a receiver -- mainly long TDs off wheel routes -- but the aforementioned two have good hands and will be effective in short-range stuff.

The main area Spiller's absence figures to hurt is special teams and field positions. Not gonna get 4-5 touchdowns this year and basically start every possession on the 40 or better.
